We’re thrilled to see our latest work collaborating with Hackney’s finest Kong Animation Studios, out in the world.
The film for Canadian Fintech giants PureFacts is a brooding animation, that pairs a bold, noir-esque aesthetic with strategic storytelling. PureFacts are a leading revenue optimisation solution provider for tier-1 investment companies.
Under the creative direction of Peter Deak at digital product agency Chapeau! and in close collaboration with PureFacts’ CMO Ed Locher, the story follows Sterling, a confident and ambitious CEO, mentally wrestling with his alter ego, Alpha – a sleek and wise Peregrine Falcon.
Using SONAL – our revolutionary briefing framework, we were able to uncover not only clear emotional themes for the soundtrack to delineate, but also establish clarity on tonal positioning, strategic objectives and widen our creative avenues to achieving these – aligning everyone and meaningfully bringing everyone into the collaboration from the start of the project.

Stop Briefing Music Like It's 1999
SONAL reimagines how you brief sound and music, unlocking fresh, ownable, unforgettable work.
Our music score blends unexpected mid-20th Century jazz score inflections with modern small-ensemble classical scoring, adding found sound elements, analogue synths and sound design layers to subtly underscore around the dialogue back and forth.
The track ebbs and flow through the various states of mind of the hero protagonist before building to a powerful, controlled crescendo.
Final audio post production and mix was handled by in-house engineer Ryan Stephenson.
