We've just enjoyed helping the team at Great Big Owl deliver their latest hit podcast Extra Life.

We recorded and engineered ten episodes of the show hosted by Ellie Gibson (Scummy Mummies, Go 8 bit) and Guardian columnist Keza MacDonald, which features a stellar list of guests from Charlie Brooker, Sophie Dukur, Jamali Madix, Tony Way, Dara O'Briain, and Jim Howick.

Not just for gamers, the podcast takes a light-hearted nostalgic look at the guest's lives through the formative video games they play whilst posing indispensable questions such as who is better, Sonic or Mario? 

Due to lockdown restrictions, about half of the episodes needed to be delivered remotely, which called for our headache-free remote recording set-up and multiple visual feeds all synced to allow the natural comedic back and forth between hosts and guests. 

The series which launched on 11th November has received a fantastic response in the first week of streams and received a glowing review from Observer journalist and 6 Music DJ Miranda Sawyer.
