We’ve just wrapped original music score alongside full sound design and mix for this beautiful campaign for Dior SS20, from directors Chris Ranson & Mehdi Lacoste. This is the third project we have delivered for Chris following our work on Hackett and Envision.
Our composition features a custom-built string section, recorded and sampled from an Ebowed (perpetual electronic bow) Chinese Erhu (Chinese one-string violin) that I bought in Malaysia a few years back. This gives the track a longing and nostalgic quality perfect for the dreamlike vintage visual style of the film built loosely on the story of Peter Pan.
