We had great fun turning our amps to 11 for the latest spot from CHI & Partners for the Carphone Warehouse. Entitled Colour Invasion and produced by Wake the Town, we were commissioned to write a ‘balls-out’ classic rock song, complete with lyrics, to accompany footage of a multi-coloured leather-clad, biker gang raising hell as they ride through a sleepy seaside town.
There’s nothing quite like the sound of an old guitar amp pushing some air, and coupled with a monster guest vocal from Gav Conder (Professor Green, Sam Smith), we enjoyed dialling in some classic tone, letting the beast feedback in the studio and rocking out.
